WHAT IS MTS?
CRUSH YOUR bUSINESS GOALS
Mountain Travel Symposium is the largest and longest running annual gathering of mountain travel professionals in the world. More than 800 representatives from 35+ countries establish relationships, build their business, pursue professional development and create a stronger mountain community.
Reach your ideal client, build brand awareness, introduce new and improved products and–most importantly– create relationships with industry leaders. MTS is much more than a typical networking event. MTS is well-established as the premier global meeting place for the worldwide mountain travel industry where resort representatives meet in a single location with a wide range of mountain vacation suppliers, buyers and vendors from around the world.
MTS is headed to Snowmass Village, CO, April 7-12, 2025.
EVENT COMPONENTS
The MTS Young Leaders Summit is an exclusive event during MTS open to young professionals under 35 who have a passion for the mountain travel industry and are dedicated to growing their professional community and knowledge-base. The MTS Young Leaders Summit will expose those who are new to the industry and early in their careers to the knowledge and insights offered by MTS attendees with great experience and tenure.
The Trade Exchange connects buyers (tour operators, wholesalers, online travel agents) with suppliers (destinations, resorts, lodging, transportation, ski rentals and ski schools and more). Over a two day period you can schedule up to 50 appointments with the companies you want to meet with.
The Forum presents the most relevant thought leadership content for sales and marketing executives in the industry. With a variety of general sessions, keynotes, panels, and workshops, it’s packed with the insights and information you need to have success in the coming year.
The Group Exchange features major ski clubs and ski councils who are anxious to learn about resorts for their upcoming group trips of 20 – 500 people. Over 120 ski clubs attend MTS, ready to learn about new destinations, with 75% of them taking international trips at least once per season. Suppliers often leave the Group Exchange with five or more new group bookings each year.
